On the Third Day of Christmas my true friend gave to me...
Fresh Eyes and Ears to Find Christ in Christmas…!
A CHRISTMAS THOUGHT FOR THE DAY… “Christmas Carols”
I heard some carols sung today
By kids, all dressed in white.
They moved me in a special way
And filled me with delight.
I’ve heard these words and tunes before
And yet they sounded new.
They made my spirit leap and soar
And thrilled me through and through.
Some words like peace and joy rang out.
God’s love was everywhere.
I heard what grace was all about
And how a God could care.
How God in heaven sent His best
His one and only son.
To give me strength in every test
And hope when there is none.
How angels voices filled the air
With songs of love and praise
As news of Jesus they did share
With hearts that were ablaze.
There are no songs like Christmas songs.
In every age they shine.
They show my heart where it belongs
In Jesus all the time.
I know what carols mean to me.
I hope you love them too.
For they express so wondrously
God’s gift to me and you!!!

…Doesn’t that make want to just go out caroling and sing to the glory of God! I hope so…
I LOVE TO TELL THE STORY… "Transforming Your Christmas Experience"
Naomi Rhode is a treasured friend, colleague, and sister in Christ who when I asked if I could share her focus for this “transformational” Christmas, replied, “I’m honored and privileged to have this serve your readers' hearts, dear, dear friend!” And so I share….
"This has been a year of transformation in our lives. That is not said lightly. We've left our home that we built and lived in for 35 years. We've left our beloved church, after 48 years, to be in a church that is near where we live now. I've essentially left the speaking business, after speaking almost every week for 45 years, to focus almost entirely on coaching speakers, and 'Transformational Life Coaching.' Jim and I sold our final shares of our business.
All things are new, and this year, I felt I should do the same thing with my Christmas season. I have asked myself in light of the darkness in the world
a question that keeps coming back to me as a Christian--"How then shall we live?"
I have decided that it is to live every moment with and through my faith. I'm working to experience every Christmas card and every Christmas concert or experience of the Season as an opportunity to view them through fresh eyes, to intentionally look at how Christ is speaking to me now through whatever is happening. It's causing me to experience everything differently.
My theme for my year has been summed up in one word-"Identity." Where do we get it? For me, it's not in my home, my profession, my church, or my path.... It is in Jesus who lives in my heart and fuels every choice and every blessing.
I challenge everyone to look for Christ in the people and the events that come your way and take His promptings to be a joy bearing agent in this wonderful season...and all year long."

YOUR MIRTHFUL MOMENT OF THE DAY...
"I stopped believing in Santa Claus when my mother took me to see him in a department store, and he asked for my autograph." -- Shirley Temple
Belief in Santa eventually gives way to disappointment, but faith in God who sent His Son just gets better with age!
